This 1966 Topps Carl Yastrzemski card has a surprise on the back - an original painting of Fenway Park. Artist Michael Koser always leaves a little bit of the original card visible through the painting, so you will notice "Carl Yastrzemski" in the sky above the "Green Monster". This item is 1 of 1.

"Yaz" is one of the most beloved Red Sox players of all time! And for good reason! When he retired in 1983, he left the game an 18X All-Star, AL MVP (1967), Triple Crown winner (1967), 7X Gold Glove winner, 3X AL batting champion and had collected 3,419 hits and 452 home runs! He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.

"I think about baseball when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day and I dream about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm playing it." - Carl Yastrzemski

The Boston Red Sox have been playing at Fenway Park since 1912. So much history - Ted Williams 502 ft. home run in 1946, clinching the AL Pennant in 1967 on the final day of the season, The Munson/Fisk brawl in 1973, Clemens striking out 20 in 1986, the All Century Team revealed at the 1999 All-Star Game, game 4 and 5 of the 2004 ALCS, Jon Lester's no hitter in 2008 after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma 2 years earlier and of course the Carlton Fisk walk off homer in game 6 of the 1975 World Series, just to name a few of the more historic moments.

Card is ungraded with some corner wear.
