Cards/Paintings
As a kid I was absolutely fascinated by baseball cards. (1956 Topps remains my favorite). Several months ago I was thinking about how I could combine my love of old cards with my passion for Lost Ballparks. Then it hit me. Why not paint a Lost Ballpark on the back of a card. One of the very first I completed was a 1976 Mark Fidrych card with Tiger Stadium painted on the back that I did for Jessica Fidrych (Mark's daughter). She really liked it and I wondered if others might too. That's how the idea for these unique, one of a kind cards came to be. Look closely and you'll notice that sometimes a section of the original card will be left visible through the painting - Usually a players name. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do bringing them to life.
